AI Analysis

Nadia Hallgren’s documentary is a powerful interrogation of systemic inequity, centering the legal advocacy of Ben Crump. The film's primary strength is its refusal to treat the legal system as a neutral arbiter, instead highlighting Black agency in high-profile cases like those of George Floyd and Breonna Taylor. While the film excels in racial and cultural representation, it remains more neutral regarding gender and LGBTQ+ identities. These elements are present but do not serve as the primary narrative drivers. Ultimately, the work succeeds by framing the pursuit of justice through the lens of identity-driven accountability and institutional reform.
