Saint Monica is a faith-based family drama that emphasizes traditional community values. The plot follows a young girl's involvement in a church ritual, reinforcing institutional stability rather than challenging it. The film lacks depth in representing multiple aspects of identity, such as LGBTQ+ identities or racial diversity. Although the female lead is central to the plot, the character dynamics adhere to conventional social norms.
