Feeling nostalgic about their high school days, Hervé, Maxime, and Jordy decide to host a grand reunion party to reconnect and celebrate their 30-year graduation anniversary. However, their idealised memories clash with reality: no one wants to come, especially their former classmates Anne and Marion, who are determined to sabotage the event. For the first time, the trio face a harsh realisation – could it be that all this time they’ve been nothing but a bunch of pretentious jerks? Determined to make amends, they embark on a hilarious quest to prove to the world and themselves that they can be better men.

Category Breakdown
LGBTQ+ Representation
The narrative focuses on interpersonal friction between former classmates without confirmed queer themes. There is no explicit mention of non-heteronormative identities in the current framework.

The film subverts masculine hierarchies by centering on three men confronting their own pretentiousness. Female characters like Anne and Marion act as active agents of sabotage rather than passive observers.

The ensemble includes diverse talent such as Zineb Triki and Michaël Abiteboul. This suggests a move toward a more representative social landscape within the contemporary French comedy genre.

AI Analysis
Class Reunion functions as a comedic deconstruction of the 'successful male' trope. By focusing on the ego and social failures of its central trio, the film moves away from traditional archetypes of masculine dominance. The narrative grants significant agency to its female characters, who drive the plot through active sabotage. This disrupts standard gendered power dynamics, making the women central to the protagonists' character arcs. While the cast shows signs of racial diversity, the depth of intersectional representation remains unconfirmed. The film's strength lies in its critique of social status and its pursuit of moral self-correction.
