The film operates primarily as a historical political thriller rather than a study in demographic inclusivity. Its strength lies in its ideological complexity and its critique of mid-20th-century power structures. By focusing on a communist operative, it offers a perspective that deviates from traditional Western historical narratives. However, the film lacks representation in several key areas. The cast appears heavily skewed toward male-dominated roles, and there is no evidence of LGBTQ+ or disabled characters. While the transnational setting provides some ethnic variety, the core ability to act remains tied to European political figures. Ultimately, the work provides cultural depth through its political subject matter but fails to address broader social diversity through character identity.
