Don't Tell Anyone is a significant piece of storytelling that disrupts biographical drama conventions. By centering a queer narrative within a conservative social framework, it delves into deep identity struggles. The film's strength lies in framing personal crises as direct confrontations with systemic social pressures. It successfully navigates the complexities of high-society constraints and patriarchal authority. While the film provides a nuanced look at class and ethnicity within Lima, the focus remains heavily on the male experience and the protagonist's specific social stratum.
