AI Analysis
I Was Here is a localized social realist drama that prioritizes socioeconomic realism over identity-based storytelling. The narrative focuses on an individual's struggle for survival within a specific economic stratum, adhering to conventional genre frameworks. The film lacks intentional disruption of identity hierarchies. It functions as a character study of poverty and crime, staying within the bounds of traditional storytelling rather than engaging in systemic or ideological deconstruction. Ultimately, the work reflects its specific geographic and cultural context through a homogeneous lens, offering little in the way of intersectional representation or diverse social perspectives.
