The Garden of Ecos functions as an ecological allegory that uses non-human species to reflect complex social and environmental dynamics. By focusing on systemic consequences rather than individual heroism, the film explores how greed and consumption can destabilize established systems. While the film lacks specific human-centric identity markers like LGBTQ+ or disability representation, it effectively uses metaphorical landscapes to critique extractive behaviors.
