Rising Storm serves as a dystopian critique of centralized power structures. It uses science fiction to explore how religious and state institutions can be manipulated to oppress the masses. The film effectively challenges traditional Western authority by presenting a fundamentalist dictatorship as the antagonist. However, its focus on broad political conflicts leaves little room for individual identity representation. Details about LGBTQ+ or disability issues are not part of the narrative structure.
