New Showbiz Analysis

Helix follows a traditional action-mystery plot centered on a single male protagonist. The story focuses on Aiden Magnusson, a man trying to clear his name against a technological enemy. This structure prioritizes personal vindication over broader social commentary. The film adheres to conventional male clichés, emphasizing male achievement and restoring a luxurious lifestyle. It lacks the depth needed to challenge established social hierarchies or provide diverse perspectives. Ultimately, the film serves as a standard science fiction thriller. It lacks diverse character development or the inclusion of underrepresented identities.
