New Showbiz Analysis

Eternity is a character-driven science fiction mystery that closely follows established genre conventions. The narrative emphasizes a standard investigative arc rather than addressing characters who reflect more than one aspect of diversity or social commentary. The film centers on a male detective solving a complex murder case, which limits visible diversity in gender, race, and LGBTQ+ identities. The production seems designed to meet genre expectations rather than challenge traditional social hierarchies or institutions.
