Pinocchio's Revenge is a typical 1990s psychological thriller that adheres strictly to established genre clichés. While it centers on female characters, it does not aim to challenge gender hierarchies or offer layered representation. The film lacks meaningful representation across most categories, focusing on a domestic horror framework. Characters and themes align with the conventional, homogeneous storytelling common to mid-budget horror of its era. Ultimately, the production functions as a traditional supernatural tale rather than a work of social critique or innovative narrative structure.
