New Showbiz Analysis

Colony anchors its narrative in a claustrophobic quarantine scenario, where representation emerges through character roles rather than broad demographics. The film places a female scientist at the center of the survival effort, giving her agency and narrative weight. A mobility-impaired character is woven into the early group, avoiding tokenism by situating her within the immediate crisis.
