New Showbiz Analysis

The film primarily adheres to the conventions of the home-invasion thriller genre. It emphasizes psychological tension and domestic dysfunction over the intentional integration of diverse identities. While the plot touches on social friction and the feeling of being judged by a community, these themes are framed through class or social perception rather than multiple aspects of identity. The lack of specific casting or identity-driven details narrows the narrative scope. Ultimately, the work focuses on the retaliatory actions of a psychotic family, leaving little room for challenging systemic social hierarchies or including underrepresented groups.
