AI Analysis

Voices functions as a standard genre-specific thriller that relies heavily on traditional narrative structures. While the female lead shows agency by attempting to break a curse, the film remains tethered to conventional tropes. The production is culturally consistent with its South Korean roots but lacks intersectional identity markers. The focus remains on survival and supernatural causality rather than diverse social representation. Ultimately, the film's adherence to established horror conventions and a lack of varied identity portrayals results in a score typical of mid-2000s regional cinema.
