T, as most of his friends, lives in a self-constructed 'house', built on top of an old building in the city. Their one passion is 'combat'. Combat is a dance/streetfight during which the contestants try to push each other out of the arena, while not allowed to actually touch each other. When drugdealers move into the neighbourhood and kill T's best friend he embarks on a mission to eradicate the drug-presence in the neigbourhood. His friends are reluctant to help though, knowing what happened to T's friend when he crossed them.

Category Breakdown
LGBTQ+ Representation
The film lacks explicit mention of LGBTQ+ characters or non-cisnormative identities. The narrative focuses on a male-centric urban subculture, offering no evidence of queer presence or subversion of heteronormativity.
Gender Representation
The story prioritizes a hyper-masculine environment centered on streetfighting and combat. It follows a conventional masculine trajectory of vengeance, with no evidence of female agency or the subversion of gender roles.
Racial & Ethnic Diversity
The urban setting and self-constructed housing imply a marginalized, socio-economically disadvantaged community. This framework suggests that characters of color or ethnic groups likely drive the central plot against local drug dealers.
Religious & Cultural Diversity
The film explores systemic instability through characters living outside formal legal structures. While it depicts an unconventional community, it lacks explicit anti-capitalist or secularist messaging to deepen its cultural critique.
Disability Representation
There are no visible or invisible disabilities, neurodivergent traits, or chronic illnesses mentioned in the character descriptions or plot summary.

AI Analysis
Rooftops operates within the traditional crime-action tropes of the late 1980s. The narrative is heavily driven by masculine-coded combat and a singular protagonist's quest for vengeance, which limits its intersectional depth. While the setting implies a diverse, marginalized urban community, the film lacks explicit representation of varied identities. The focus remains on a narrow, hyper-masculine social hierarchy. Ultimately, the film provides a conventional urban story that lacks the progressive subversion of power hierarchies or gender roles necessary for a higher diversity rating.
