New Showbiz Analysis

The film places women and LGBTQ+ characters at the heart of its power structure, avoiding including someone from a minority group without giving them real depth. It successfully challenges traditional heroism through a matriarchal lens, though it remains culturally specific to Japan and does not significantly address broader ethnic diversity or Anglo-centric norms.
