AI Analysis

Under Suspicion is a conventional psychological thriller that prioritizes genre tropes over social commentary. The narrative focuses on the psychological erosion of a male figure in authority, which keeps the perspective narrow and traditional. The film lacks intentionality regarding intersectional representation. It adheres to established demographic patterns, centering on a white male protagonist and maintaining a standard heteronormative framework. Ultimately, the movie functions as a character study of individual guilt. It does not seek to disrupt social hierarchies or engage with diverse identity politics.
