New Showbiz Analysis

Kingdom 5: The Clash of Souls grounds its world in ancient China with an all-Asian cast, delivering strong racial authenticity. The war narrative prioritizes male military figures, leaving gender representation thin despite a female presence in the top billed cast. Cultural depiction stays focused on historical conflict and state survival, avoiding anachronistic elements. However, the absence of LGBTQ+ and disability representation narrows the film’s inclusivity. The overall score reflects solid ethnic alignment with the setting but limited progress in broader representation categories.
