New Showbiz Analysis

Asylum of Darkness primarily adheres to standard horror clichés, focusing on an individual's psychological struggle. The narrative structure leans on traditional genre conventions rather than addressing multiple layers of diversity. While the film tackles mental health issues through its protagonist, it does not demonstrate broader social or cultural subversion. Gender dynamics remain conventional, centered around a male lead with authority. Overall, the film lacks specific markers of diverse ensemble dynamics or systemic critiques necessary for a higher diversity score.
