Iselsa and Cathy decided to be part of a project designed by leaders of social architecture, who will give them their own home and integrate them into a middle class neighborhood. The camera observes for 7 years: the lack of resources, a neighborhood that rejects them, problems in construction and the disaster caused by the rains. The most difficult thing will be to overcome the division of the community.

AI Analysis
74 Square Meters is a documentary that prioritizes the lived experiences of marginalized individuals over traditional narrative structures. It succeeds by centering female agency within the male-dominated spheres of urban planning and social engineering. The film provides a sharp critique of systemic integration, moving beyond idealized success stories to show the reality of community rejection and resource scarcity. This focus on systemic friction provides a strong cultural perspective. However, the film lacks visible representation regarding LGBTQ+ identities and specific details regarding racial or ethnic backgrounds. The absence of disability-related content also limits the breadth of its inclusive scope.
