New Showbiz Analysis

Garden of Hedon is a genre-driven exploration of moral decay and psychological isolation. It prioritizes the mechanics of a horror anthology over the inclusion of diverse identities. The film excels in thematic depth, using its setting to deconstruct traditional morality and social norms. Despite this, the casting and character roles rely heavily on conventional clichés. The narrative lacks significant markers of racial, gender, or LGBTQ+ diversity, resulting in a score that reflects standard genre conventions.
