AI Analysis

Ghoulies II is a conventional genre piece that functions primarily as escapist horror-comedy. It relies on established tropes of the late 1980s, offering minimal engagement with intersectional identities. The film lacks the intentionality required to disrupt conventional expectations of gender, race, or identity. It follows a traditional approach to genre tropes rather than pursuing narrative subversion. Ultimately, the production reflects the non-diverse casting trends of its era, focusing on creature-driven chaos rather than social or cultural commentary.
