AI Analysis

My Ex 2: Haunted Lover is a conventional genre piece that operates within the established boundaries of Thai supernatural horror. It prioritizes localized folklore and personal trauma over sociopolitical commentary or intersectional storytelling. The film centers on a female lead, yet her agency is often overshadowed by her role as a victim of both romantic betrayal and ghostly haunting. This keeps the narrative within traditional gendered tropes. Ultimately, the film lacks intentional diversity, focusing instead on a homogeneous cultural setting and a standard heterosexual romantic arc.
