AI Analysis

Who Took Johnny is a character study centered on maternal agency and the failure of institutional investigations. It succeeds in elevating a female protagonist to a position of central authority, providing a strong look at individual resilience against systemic inadequacy. However, the film remains traditional in its demographic scope. It lacks engagement with intersectional identity politics or the deconstruction of broader social hierarchies, focusing instead on a localized, homogeneous event. Ultimately, the documentary prioritizes a specific human-interest investigation over diverse representation, resulting in a narrow demographic focus.
