AI Analysis

Muppets Haunted Mansion functions as a traditional franchise installment that prioritizes brand continuity over progressive narrative architecture. The film relies on established character archetypes to drive its comedic structure, resulting in a predictable social landscape. While the film offers minor subversions of gendered power dynamics through the Miss Piggy and Kermit relationship, it lacks intentionality regarding intersectional representation. The narrative is designed for broad, conventional appeal rather than challenging social norms. Ultimately, the production remains within the bounds of established character comedy. It avoids systemic critiques, focusing instead on the resolution of supernatural conflict and the maintenance of group cohesion.
