800 Km De Différence - Romance is an observational documentary that emphasizes intimate human connections over grand cinematic clichés. It provides a nuanced portrayal of adolescent vulnerability and the emotional impact of physical distance. While the film does not challenge systemic norms or engage deeply with broader diversity themes, it offers a meaningful exploration of interpersonal dynamics. The focus is on the lived experiences of the two main characters rather than structured social hierarchies. Ultimately, the film serves as a localized study of connection, though it does not explicitly address broader diversity themes such as LGBTQ+ or racial representation.
