Dofus - Book I: Julith offers a moderate level of representation by challenging traditional gender roles within a fantasy setting. Julith’s mastery of blacksmithing disrupts typical feminine archetypes. However, the film remains within conventional storytelling boundaries. It lacks explicit LGBTQ+ presence and doesn’t use disability as a narrative device, focusing instead on magical abilities and vocational skills. While the use of non-human species provides a visual departure from human-centric norms, the film lacks the multi-layered complexity or systemic critique necessary for a higher progressive score.
