New Showbiz Analysis

Elizaveta Savvina’s documentary examines how social expectations influence the lives of young women. By showcasing Gelya’s emotional journey and Kristina’s early motherhood, the film avoids idealizing the domestic sphere. Instead, it delves into the complexities of womanhood and the interplay between personal desires and societal pressures. However, the film does not engage with LGBTQ+ themes or provide information on racial or disability representation, which limits its inclusivity.
