Daylight Robbery functions as a conventional crime-thriller, prioritizing heist mechanics over identity-driven commentary. The narrative architecture is built around a male-centric plot that lacks complexity in representing diverse identities. The ensemble is composed entirely of men, which limits the scope of gender representation. This focus on a male cohort reinforces standard genre clichés common in mid-2000s heist cinema. While the film uses a large-scale sporting event as a backdrop, it does not appear to use this setting to explore diverse cultural or racial perspectives, leaning instead toward a homogeneous demographic.
