New Showbiz Analysis

The film adheres strictly to traditional horror conventions, prioritizing a standard domestic setup over progressive storytelling. The narrative structure focuses on preserving the nuclear family against supernatural threats, which limits opportunities for representing multiple aspects of identity. Because the plot centers on a Victorian home and a malevolent spirit, the themes lean toward classical Western morality. This approach lacks the subversion of social hierarchies necessary to elevate the diversity score. Ultimately, the film presents a homogeneous environment. It relies on established genre clichés rather than exploring diverse identities or complex social dynamics.
