AI Analysis

The film functions as a conventional genre piece centered on interpersonal conflict. While it avoids some traditional gender hierarchies by placing survival agency in the hands of women, it lacks intersectional depth. The narrative focuses on a fractured family dynamic and supernatural horror rather than exploring broader sociological or identity-based frameworks. This results in a narrow scope of representation. Ultimately, the film relies on standard character flaws and mystery tropes, missing opportunities for more complex or systemic storytelling.
