New Showbiz Analysis

Proof of Love functions as a conventional romantic comedy centered on class and inheritance. The narrative relies on traditional clichés, using marriage as a prerequisite for character growth and wealth preservation. While the film features a strong female lead, her journey is constrained by patriarchal structures. The plot reinforces established social hierarchies rather than challenging them. Overall, the film lacks diverse representation, particularly in terms of LGBTQ+ identities, disabilities, and varied racial dynamics.
