Man of the House is a mainstream comedy that leans heavily on conventional comedic formulas rather than challenging social norms. While the film includes a diverse cast, the character interactions often rely on traditional comedic archetypes rather than deeper exploration of multiple identities. The narrative centers around conventional hierarchies and assumptions about relationships. It functions as a typical domestic comedy that upholds traditional Western social norms and family structures. Overall, the film lacks the complexity needed to challenge broader social hierarchies or provide meaningful representation for underrepresented groups.
