This documentary is primarily a focused biography centered on Hunter S. Thompson and Ralph Steadman. It places emphasis on ideological subversion rather than broad demographic representation. While it lacks diversity in terms of race, gender, and LGBTQ+ identities, it succeeds as a cultural document. Its strength lies in its commitment to the 'Gonzo' ethos, which prioritizes subjective truth over a wide range of human identities.
