The film successfully challenges traditional patriarchal horror clichés by focusing on a trio of women who are the main drivers of the plot. Their roles shift from passive victims to active investigators. However, the narrative remains confined to a culturally homogeneous, Eurocentric setting. This limits the scope of cultural engagement. Ultimately, the work centers on intergenerational female dynamics rather than broader diversity.
