AI Analysis
Running Away is a character-driven domestic thriller that prioritizes psychological tension over demographic breadth. The plot centers on the breakdown of a blended family unit and the unraveling of secrets. While the film successfully challenges the sanctity of the traditional family structure, it lacks intersectional complexity. The narrative focuses on individual agency within a high-stakes environment rather than exploring marginalized identities. Ultimately, the film functions as a genre piece that explores domestic dysfunction without intentional identity-based architecture.
