Racial & Ethnic Diversity

Limited

The cast is primarily homogeneous, reflecting the specific 1960s Blackpool setting. The storytelling relies on a culturally specific, largely Anglo-Saxon lens without presenting diverse ethnic backgrounds.

Religious & Cultural Diversity

Fair

The film focuses on the struggle of the working-class artist within the comedy circuit. It avoids singular religious morality but does not engage in systemic critiques of Western institutions.

AI Analysis

Funny Bones is a traditional, character-driven dramedy that prioritizes interpersonal relationships and professional mentorship. While the film avoids promoting harmful stereotypes, its narrative architecture remains within conventional boundaries. The story focuses on the psychological depth of its male leads, which limits the scope of its social representation. It functions as a specific character study rather than a tool for systemic disruption. Ultimately, the film lacks the intersectional complexity or the subversion of traditional hierarchies necessary to achieve a higher progressive score.
