AI Analysis

Romance uses a meta-fictional framework to examine the gap between idealized myth and human reality. By placing actors within a classical tragedy, the film allows for a critique of the rigid archetypes often found in traditional romantic storytelling. While the film does not overtly center marginalized identities, its structure promotes emotional relativism. It challenges the hegemony of classical tropes by emphasizing individual authenticity over inherited literary structures. However, the narrative remains largely conventional in its core romantic pairing. The lack of explicit LGBTQ+ representation or disability inclusion keeps the diversity profile moderate.
