The film centers on a female protagonist, Melissa, who actively pursues her own goals rather than acting passively. This portrayal provides a baseline of women's ability to drive the story within a comedy framework. However, the film lacks broader representation of diverse identities, such as LGBTQ+, racial, or disability inclusion. The narrative appears focused on individualistic social navigation rather than broader systemic or cultural critiques.
