AI Analysis

Lesser Prophets is a character-driven crime drama that finds its strength in a multi-ethnic cast. The inclusion of actors like Jimmy Smits and JB Smoove helps move the film away from homogeneous casting, offering a more realistic urban texture. However, the film remains heavily tethered to traditional genre tropes. The narrative architecture is primarily male-centric, focusing on the transactional and moral conflicts of men within the criminal and law enforcement sectors. While the film successfully deconstructs institutional authority through its themes of corruption, it lacks explicit representation of LGBTQ+ identities or disability-focused narratives.
