New Showbiz Analysis

Spirit Riding Free: Spirit of Christmas centers a capable, female-led ensemble, subverting the traditional 'lone male hero' cliché common in Western settings. However, the film remains deeply rooted in conventional cultural frameworks, emphasizing social stability and traditional holiday sentiment. While the friendship group offers a more integrated social landscape compared to traditional frontier stories, the lack of LGBTQ+ or disability representation keeps the narrative within safe, traditional parameters.
