Siren functions as a conventional horror piece that prioritizes established genre archetypes over social deconstruction. The narrative relies heavily on the siren cliché, which centers female characters through the lens of sexual allure and peril. The film lacks evidence of diverse identities or demographic representation. It follows a standard survivalist trajectory typical of Western leisure-themed horror, focusing on group preservation against a supernatural threat. Ultimately, the production adheres to traditional cinematic frameworks rather than attempting to disrupt social expectations or integrate diverse perspectives.
