AI Analysis

The Missing is a character-driven thriller that prioritizes female agency. By placing Raina and Holly in active, investigative roles, the film avoids common tropes of female passivity in high-stakes scenarios. However, the narrative remains within conventional thriller mechanics. The lack of verifiable information regarding racial diversity or explicit LGBTQ+ identities prevents a more intersectional reading of the work. Ultimately, while the film offers meaningful gendered representation, it lacks the documented evidence of systemic subversion needed for a higher diversity rating.
