New Showbiz Analysis

Nun of That disrupts traditional genres with a subversive, campy approach to religious mythology and action cinema. Its primary strength lies in subverting gendered expectations by centering a powerful female protagonist and replacing typical male action heroes with a female-led vigilante group. While the film offers a critique of institutional authority, it lacks depth in representing multi-layered identities, particularly in terms of LGBTQ+ and racial complexities.
