New Showbiz Analysis

Wolfwalkers uses its historical setting to critique the power dynamics of colonialism. The tension between colonial authority and indigenous autonomy drives the narrative. The film's strength lies in its post-colonial framework, which elevates indigenous identity and presents the wild as a space for freedom. While it excels in representing gender and cultural diversity, it lacks specific LGBTQ+ or disability-focused narratives.
