Puck and Einar decide to spend the last weeks of their vacation in Einar's idyllic childhood town Skoga. Pucks father Johannes Ekstedt, professor in Egyptology, has a household cat called Thotmes III that joins the couple. They get to borrow both Einar's sisters beautiful old wooden house as well as her highly competent housekeeper. But after the first night, the idyll crumbles. Einar finds a dead body on the lawn, a young man stabbed to death by a dagger. Christer Wijk enters the stage and with the help of Pucks observations the mystery approaches its tragic solution.

LGBTQ+ Representation
The story centers on the relationship between Puck and Einar. There is no visible presence of queer-coded subtext or non-heteronormative dynamics, suggesting a reliance on conventional romantic structures.
Gender Representation
Puck demonstrates intellectual agency through her observations during the investigation. However, the narrative still utilizes archetypes like a competent housekeeper and a male-driven mystery led by Christer Wijk.

AI Analysis
No More Murders operates as a traditional Scandinavian crime procedural. It prioritizes atmospheric tension and the mechanics of a mystery over the exploration of intersectional identities or the subversion of social hierarchies. The film adheres to conventional storytelling expectations, focusing on a localized, homogeneous setting. While characters like Puck show individual agency, the broader narrative structure remains within established genre archetypes. Ultimately, the work functions as a restorative justice arc. It seeks to solve a crime and restore order rather than challenging systemic structures or presenting diverse cultural perspectives.
