In No Great Hurry is an aesthetic and philosophical inquiry rather than a vehicle for social representation. It disrupts the 'great man' biography cliché by focusing on the quiet, uncelebrated aspects of a creative life. The film's diversity is largely atmospheric, derived from the urban environment captured through Leiter's unique visual perspective. While it lacks multi-layered character's ability to drive the story, it avoids promoting traditional, high-achievement hierarchies. Ultimately, the documentary celebrates a life lived outside the pressures of mainstream institutional validation, prioritizing personal authenticity over commercial success.

The film adopts a secular, humanist perspective that prioritizes the beauty of the mundane. It subtly critiques capitalist drives for fame by celebrating Leiter's non-conformist, individualistic existence.
The film does not focus on disability, neurodivergence, or chronic illness as central narrative components.
