New Showbiz Analysis

The film presents a nuanced exploration of identity by focusing on the flexibility of social structures. It effectively challenges traditional family concepts by valuing chosen bonds over biological ones. This approach creates a meaningful framework for stories that consider various aspects of diversity. While the film succeeds in critiquing conventional family structures, it does not provide specific visibility for certain groups. The focus remains on the tensions within the family unit, particularly between maternal figures. Ultimately, the film serves as a critique of typical domestic hierarchies, using the foster care system to examine complex, non-traditional family relationships.
