New Showbiz Analysis

Primarily functioning as a genre piece, the film prioritizes social commentary over demographic diversity. It explores the breakdown of institutional authority and the instability of modern mobility through the lens of horror. However, it lacks representation for LGBTQ+ identities and people with disabilities. Its strength lies in its cultural critique, particularly in how it portrays the clash between traditional social structures and the 1970s counter-culture.
