New Showbiz Analysis

The film excels as a character-driven piece that centers on female solidarity and emotional intelligence. By highlighting the resilience and ability to act of its young female leads, it overturns traditional horror clichés. However, the narrative remains confined to a specific demographic, lacking in racial and LGBTQ+ diversity. The predominantly white cast limits broader social representation. Overall, the film successfully showcases female leadership and challenges gender stereotypes, though it falls short in representing a wider range of identities.
